LEAST RESISTANCE TRAINING CONCEPTS, INC. POLICY REGARDING MINORS AT WORKSHOPS The Wild Horse Workshops are intense programs involving participants with varying levels of experience who are working with wild horses and burros. Safety of participants, animals and staff is of paramount importance. Participants and clinicians have to concentrate in the working pens and not be worried about what children outside the pens are doing that may startle the animals or result in injury to themselves. Participants and clinicians need to be able to relax undisturbed during breaks and meals. It is necessary to minimize risks and distractions at all times and such risks include children. Oftentimes children pose safety problems at workshops. It is a long program. Children naturally get bored and many become distracting or disruptive in attempts to entertain themselves. Children running on the bleachers, calling to or otherwise distracting participants in the pens and/or disturbing the peace during meals and breaks create safety problems and will not be permitted. As a result of our experiences with children at previous workshops the following safety policy regarding children has been adopted and will be enforced. I. Children at Workshops (in general):
This is an adult program however we recognize that some minors have sufficient experience and maturity to register as participants in the program. The following rules apply to minors who wish to be participants.
